I think she’ll get silver. I don’t think the 5K is gonna go slow like the 10K did. & with Kipyegon having run 4 races before the final, I think there is great potential for Kipyegon to get beat by both Chebet & Battocletti. I think Ngetich should push very hard early & see if she can pop enough to steal the bronze from Kipyegon. But we’ll see.

This is a logical take, but I disagree. Kipyegon ran 4 races including the 5000m final prior to her 1500m final, and she looked spectacular in her final race, running her fastest ever championship 1500m time and looking strong through the line

Agree. plus it is hot and humid so nobody will push the pace. Kipyegon just ran 807 for 3K, good luck breaking her. she’s fast and strong. it’ll come down to positioning the last 400.
