A Handstand Race might draw some interest, and wouldn’t be comically hard to judge cheating like in the current Race/Walk, an event that is not clear to me why it is even included in WC.
Maybe if the “Media 800m” was promoted, and included on the program it might garner more interest than the Race/Walk?

Maybe handstand racers would tend to look like super-roided-out gymnast types with huge shoulders and lean legs. But on the other hand, maybe long arms would win out? Hard to say…

You could have handstand sprint races and endurance races, but maybe the latter would end up with too many participants passing out.
