The more important question: Can we watch it for free without paying for some overpriced subscription?
FloTrack, Peacock, USATF.tv, now ESPN+, too many subscriptions...
I got Hoey. He's the angriest of them all. The 5th Ave Mile almost feels like a repechage round like the DL final did, except this time there's no advancing to the Worlds.
Thousands of runners will compete in Sunday's New Balance 5th Avenue Mile, the most iconic road mile race in the world stretching 20 blocks down Fifth Avenue.
The last road mile Yared ran, he lost to Elliot Giles. Not sure he’s a road type of guy. I don’t see him pulling away like Josh Kerr has in this race so this could be a close finish.

You have to give it to Nuguse there. He looked buried with 400m to go and that comeback was impressive. Especially as in general it looks like he's been running fumes since USA's.
The other interesting guy for me was Hoey. Guy needs a hobby that isn't running races - great season but trying to batter it when you're totally cooked just isn't smart. Take up knitting or golf as an extra-curricular activity.
With 200 to go I was certain Hunter was going to tractor-trailer that one and just plow through for the win, still it's great to see him running well again.
But back to Nuguse, good win and something to build off for next season.
