You can't really improve fitness in a week. Doing some short sprints for 'sharpening' and some work at race pace to prepare your legs to run might help, but it's very easy to overdo it. Keep the reps short and the overall volume of the workouts low with long recoveries. The workouts should not feel hard at all.
