I’ve got tickets. There’s probably got to be a meet-up. Though I’d probably avoid it like the plague based on who might show. It would be interesting to meet the brojos and I’d probably consider a group run (as if anyone here actually does that).
Anyway, Tokyo is awesome. Highly recommend, and looking forward to it!

I don't blame you. His encyclopedic knowledge can be intimidating to the casual fan.
Of course he will be there. He will be competing in the White Heat of the 1500m like he did at the USATF Road Mile. He won the White Heat in Paris last year, don't you remember?
He doesn't seek publicity, but he'll be advising several people on team USA.

I would try to meet up with Jake Barraclough (sp?), the 'Ran To Japan' YouTuber. A Brit and 2:14 marathoner, he has been living there (mostly in Tokyo) for two years, so he would know all the good parks to run in. Also an expert on cheap food (scran).
The Letsrun crew said in their interview that Sean Brosnan will be in Tokyo. The Dude is everywhere
