Competition aside, he LOOKED bad on Saturday. I think the truth is somewhere in between the hype and that OSU game. Not going to panic over one game against the defending national champions on the road, but man that was a rough game.

I think people have no idea how much pressure the kid was under.

He got humiliated on national TV.

Now he either grows or he disappears.

I think he will grow.

Reminds you of bronnie james, average talent with a last name. Frick texas, they are new-ish to our conference but hopefully the lose every game. Has any program in America done less with more than mighty texas in our lifetimes? Debatable.

Payton and Eli had even less competition and played in a smaller classification. Wonder how it turned out for them.
