Ask next summer. The Tour was over in July. You get to continue asking silly questions about Pogacar for one grace month, which expired in August.
I think the most important part of this is how much better cycling translates to the elliptical than running. I also don’t know what it really means to cover 5k on the elliptical. But pogacar is fundamentally an ultra-endurance athlete. A 13 minute event or whatever is much more in Jakobs wheelhouse.
Pogadcar could do the elliptical for hours at a rate the average person couldn’t do for 5 minutes. Jakob would beat him in 10-12 race.

A real competition would be either of them competing with a twelve year old girl on a rowing machine.
Pogacar beats Jakob at all distances on the elliptical. Plus, for just a 12 minute race they are going to be pushing at a high resistance and pushing hard on the elliptical feels more similar to standing on the pedals during a hill climb on the bike than it does to running laps of a track.
Letsconsider ,one is coming from a known drug sport, the other is coming from..... Hmm never mind .
