The calculator doesn't take into account the age of the runner. A 50 year old male who runs 5 miles in 30 minutes is not likely to be a 5:13.5 miler.

Seems about right. About what I did. You would need to do mile training to get your speed up.Without that you would probly fail. Also you might require three races to reach that time or faster.
