Trying to think of a good phrase or one-liner to print on the back of a H.S. cross country tee shirt.
I saw a thread on this a while ago. Any ideas ??
Thanks

When someone says "BAIL", jump.
"Distance runners do it longer"
on the front: your "school name" XC
on the back "we run this campus"
'real men don't play with balls'
"We're ghey"
You can\'t beat us on the course
But you can beat us off!
"We don't advertise."
Unlike most sports XC takes TWO balls.
It's not even really that great, but for whatever reason I always liked the shirts of one of the high schools we competed with from a couple of years ago. They had some random runner guy on the front saying "Sorry baby I can't, I've got a race tomorrow."
Or, if you wanted to go the creative route, you could put an obscure Steve Prefontaine quote on it, like "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."
Cunning Runts
TAKE NO PRISONERS
SEARCH AND DESTROY
If we don't get 'em on the course,
we'll get 'em in the parking lot.
"We f***ed your sister."
I hope she was better than when I tapped that ass.
Cross Country is a lot like drinking beer: Go hard, vomit, repeat process.
"This is the back of the shirt."
I read a shirt one time that read something like this:
"We love to do what all other sports hate to do - RUN"

Actually, I can't tell you have many teams I have seen use pre quotes. Even the swim team at my high school the year I graduated used pre.
One that I wanted to use was "You have dreams we crush them". We ended up using the bridge (or is it the break?) Rage Against the Machines Gurilla radio "It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime. What better place than here, what better time than now."
