They used to have the track meet on Friday and the Beale Street Mile on Saturday so quite a few pros would run both. They changed it this year and the "pro" race was a joke. It looks like only 4 men and 1 woman ran the pro race.

I’d LOVE to run this race but I ain’t risking my life for it. Hotter it gets, more crime happens there.
