Eliud Kipchoge told us the news no one wanted to hear, at the culmination of the London Marathon 2025.

But there was a positive: "I think I'll be going around the world to run in big city marathons for a cause, for education, and for conservation," continued the two-time Olympic champion, "but above all, I'm still having one more year."
