Breaking 4 in the 1500 feels like the line between being just decent and actually solid.
Y’all think this workout could get me there?
1200-600-800-400, 3-min rest across
Splits: 2:29 – 1:35 – 2:11 – 59
effort: 8/8.5 (10/10 is a race)
I’m more of a strength guy – just ran 15:09 for 5K, so I’m definitely coming down from the longer stuff.
Another sesh I hit recently:
500 in 1:23 (2’ rest), 500 in 1:21 (2’),
3x400 in 62.5 w/ 90” rest,
4x300 in 45.7 w/ 60” rest.
