Runners will experience some freezing sections this year and at least one aid station departure will include and mandatory 4 litre water check.
Notable participants to watch include:
32 year old Harry Subertas originally from Lithuania who won it last year in 69 hours 50 minutes. He was virtually unknown in the ultra running elite category before this win.
33 year old Max Jollife from Newport Beach, CA, who barely beat Harry Subertas for 1st place in, 69 hours 22 minutes at last years Moab 240 Ultramarathon. Max has been running ultras for 3 years and has been consistently competitive at races. He will probably front run this race.
29 year old Jack Scott from Staffordshire, UK, who set the course record and won the Montane Spine Race 2024, smashing the course record by over 10 hours finishing the 268 mile race in 72 hours 55 minutes over the mountains of England and Scotland. He is somewhat being favorited as the predicted winner of this race.
40 year old female Courtney Dauwalter of Leadville, CO, who was the first person to win Western States 100, Hardrock 100 and the UTMB in the same year recently in 2023. She hasn't won a 200 mile ultra trail race since 2018 but is still considered the best female trail ultra runner in the world.
37 year old Georgia Porter from Flagstaff, AZ, who set the fastest women’s overall and women’s supported FKT on the Arizona Trail (817 miles) last year in 16 days, 22 hours, and 6 minutes.
The race is being live streamed for 5 days minus two 5 hours breaks at
