I believe in the interview with Kipchoge they mentioned the top men are targeting 61:00 for the first half. Seems reasonable, as good as he is I don't think Kiplimo will go for sub 2 in his debut. Could set up a negative split for someone to run a super fast time

I would love to see kejelcha in the mix but he did the road to records event with the other adidas athletes. Something tells me we are underestimating tamirat tola and he could be a darkhorse in beating kiplimo. Also remember kipchoge has stated his desire to run ultramarathons. I wonder how soon he is to actually doing that, if ever? I think he should keep doing marathons but do one's in cities like Houston.
