No NFL team is going to invest too highly in a raw qb. He'll be drafted in third or fourth round with a decent veteran ahead of him and have three years to develop in to a star.

This. The key reason why is that Deion has suggested firmly that whatever team his son goes to, he will become a coach and then eventually the head coach.

If Shedeur played the same position as Deion (cornerback or safety), he'd get more respect in the draft. But QB is a different ballgame. That's also why his demeanor and character is being evaluated, QB needs to be a selfless, respected leader of the pro team. He has not demonstrated that at all.

There are thousands of players who played in NFL (and other sports) and there are only a very small handful whose parents / kids also play. We know the Mannings because they are the exception.

NFL did a story on father/sons - they listed 52 pairings... call that 104 total people. Out of 27,000 NFL players (all-time). That is 0.4%.

So, presuming Sanders is NFL-caliber because his dad was is meaningless.
