There's some predictor you can run where you run 2 400's with one minute recovery, measure the total distance and that predicts what you can run in an 800. Does anyone have a link or can you post the tables? Thanks.

It is at your local high school, go down there and run around the track 2 times as fast as you can. You will see a time on your watch. After you sit around drinking beer all night crying because the time was slow as hell you will make up some lie of a time that sounds better and that will be your predicted time in the 800 because somewhere in your heart you believe you should run that fast someday

Haha. I like this much better than the usual "go run a race"
You run 60 seconds all out, take 3 or 5 minutes rest, I'm not sure which, and then do it again. Now this may not seem hard to you, but if you think about it, it's killer. You'll need to run your pr in the 400 on your way through. Then you have another 60 seconds. The distance you run correlates to a specific time.
