I’m not sure if I like Steve or not. seems to keep making arguments from authority “I ran a 4 minute mile, I coached olympians, I wrote a book, I’m an exercise physiologist” but never really goes beyond surface level science and seems to argue from a dogmatic perspective. Never really cites major studies. sometimes, but not enough to back up his claims.

Is he a shoetuber or just a YouTuber?
Eh I dunno, I just felt like making this statement. I guess in the realm of shoetuber since he wants to break 4:20 in the mile as a masters runner.

It really bothers me when people approach training like a research paper. Elite atheletes will always be one step ahead of whatever studies are out there, and not everything needs a citation.
Chiropractors can sell their nonsense only because real doctors fail to come up with any preventive treatment for back problems.
You go ask them about how to stop your back from getting twisted, gnarly and old, they'll just shrug and say that's normal. Tell them it hurts, and they will send you away with a prescription for addictive opoids. Ask them if you should fix your posture, do certain exercises, anything preventive and they will tell you go see a chiropractor.
Only if you go in with a completely wrecked back will they do anything, and that anything is generally surgery.
I got the same treatment from orthopedic surgeons back in the day. A string of various BS, and finally an offer of surgery. Eventually I figured the issues out for myself, no surgery.
tbh I can't think of even one biomechanical thing a medical doctor was able to help me with
Speaking of shoetubers, I've always wondered why Ari and Spencer didn't get into full shoe reviews. They could make $$ and get free trips around the world for cloat.
Whatever you do is a bigger quack than those folks. 5 decade 9-5er. Cubicle. Dead end
Look into the views some of these chiropractors are bringing in on YouTube.
