2 MILE: 55+4= 7:52
5000: 59+2= 12:37
10000: 61+4= 27:00
If he runs a 7:52 2 mile and only 27:00 for 10k, I will kick him in the balls.

now assuming webb is clean now, i believe he can run these times clean. so the real question is, how fast can a drugged up webb run? and if a guy with webbs stats and progression was from africa, would everyone still think hes clean?

Webb is not gonna break any World Records. I hate to doubt him because he's silenced so many doubters in the past. But I just don't see Webb getting to that level.
You are totally selling Wariner short. Saying he can run 1:36 is an insult. With 43/44 second speed, all he has to do is run back to back 47s for an easy 1:34.
12:37 is an amazing time. 27:00 sucks. No effing way he will run a 7:52 if can't break 27:00...tell me you meant 26:30..please god tell me you mean 26:30
If 27:00 sucks then there's only ever been 20 good 10k runners ever.
Webb will break word records because he is our American hero. That should be rationale enough... Actually he won't break world record because it doesn't have "dominant" world class ability. He might however earn an Olympic medal in the event that all African nations boycott the games or if he gets lucky and runs a tactical race on the World scene. But for now, he's the best we have.....dream on boys!!
The 4.000000000000 sec rule does not work exactly, especially for 5000m to 10000m.

Webb has never run quicker that 49 point out of the blocks. The 47 you are talking about was in a relay, and I think it was 47.8, so that's about 48.4-5 out of blocks.

48.5 + 4 (52.5)= 1:45.0 (there or there abouts already)
52.5 + 4 (56.5)= 3:31.87 or 3:47.31 mile (almost there)
56.5 + 4 (60.5) = 7:33.75 (about the same as his 2 mile pr)
So, I'd venture to say that he is already on the 4 sec rule and to improve on his current pb's he will need to improve his 400m speed, or invent the 3 second rule. It's a same we never really saw ElG have a hit out at an 800 at his prime as it would have given us a good idea of his true speed. It's all to easy to speculate on what he would have run. You would think that if Cram could run 1:42.88, the ElG would be there or thereabouts as well, vbut not any quicker.

all of the very elite guys can do what he does +, but he doesn't do anything that they can't do.
he's obviously going to come very close in the mile, the 1500, and the 2000m, his best chance at a world record are in the 3k the 2 mile and the 5k. He's right though, his better event probably is the 5k considering he could win it in a tactical race with his speed.
He's a pretty lucky guy, being able to run 800m-10,000m at world class levels for all, something few will ever get to do. he's gonna have one long career unless he dies like pre.

Well I think Webby can get to Aouita's times. And, I think Webby can improve at 800m - and that will help in the mile / 1500m a lot more than racing some biotch 10000m in late April will. IMHO.
