Has anyone used the Nike victory for the steeple?
I've noticed a lot of 3k/5k (most notably Grant Fisher) guys wearing it this indoor season for the longer events instead of the Dragonfly. Debating whether or not to switch from the Dragonfly to the victory for the steeple this year.
I have no experience, but the air bubble in the front MAY feel weird on the water barrier

Try not to overthink it. They don't really make steeple specific shoes and none of them are going to inhibit you too much over 6 laps of having one or two soggy shoes. Use whatever spike you are most comfortable with.
NO. The Nike Victory are much less durable than the Nike Dragonfly. Had a friend buy the 2's and the foam heel ripped apart during his first run in them. I have also seen teammates rip through the upper. As for people like Fischer opting for them in the 3k, I believe he still chose the dragonfly for the 5k which is a pace one is lucky to run during the steeple.
Is durability a concern for professional athletes on contracts?
I would definitely use them.
