Those guys looked like jokers and they were running 13:20.
And what did you run? 13:20 is not a joke.
If I remember correctly you ran 14:30 in college, although I think you got down to somewhere around low low 28:00s for the 10. (yep, I am that old to remember this)
You should know better than be disrespectful to guys who are out there doing their absolute best.
Here is the deal. Fisher was never thought of as an American GOAT. The key word is “was”. Even at the Olympics, I didn’t take notice of much difference.
But Millrose was different. They had prolonged side views of him running. Something looks different about him. He looks more sleek and fast.

Can anyone else relate?
What I’m saying, is even beyond the times, the guy now looks the part. Jakob has a lumbering style, and is thus deceptive in how fast he is covering ground. Fisher has had a trademark mechanical precision, but it seemed to run up against limits. But at Millrose, I don’t know if the way his shorts fit…but his upper body too, the dude looked fast when running.

And of course, he not only looked fast, he kicked down the 1500m Olympic Champion that was quoted as saying he felt “amazing” going into the race. (They both ran under the WR.)
