This is one of the best running conversations I've heard in a while. Highly underrated content.
Steve Magness is the worst person to listen to. He’s one of the most self absorbed dishonest people. He’s no longer working in the sport and that’s good.
This is so ironic because Magness was the science guy behind all the doping. He wasn't an innocent lab boy, he actually was designing the doping program.
Only when he got fired for indiscretions w/ athletes (non-doping related) did he go on a personal vendetta to ruin Salazar and protect (and enhance) his own reputation.
Salazar is not innocent and still deserves what came to him. But Magness is equally, if not more sketchy. Remember Magness himself actually took performance enhancing drugs from Salazar.
If Magness was really so ethical, he would not have taken the drugs. It's not a believable story that Magness only reported them because he felt guilty that Farah and Rupp won in 2012.
Magness also went to Dr. Brown in high school.
