Wightman was injured off and on all last year and is overtraining so far this year. Probably injured again.

It was interesting in that in his IG he indicated it was travel-related, but then they said knee injury. That could merely be being vague however.

Yes his instagram says ‘my body hasn’t dealt with travel very well so trying to play it safe’.

Scratch that, I saw news she was out of the Mile, but it turns out that is strategic to put her in the 3,000. Wonder if this means she'll be aiming to do World Indoors for that. Will find out tomorrow.

Likely means she just moved her plans -- open with a 3000 then race a mile -- back a week due to her NBIGP illness-related DNS.

Pretty shrewd hunch she races the mlle @ BU's Valentine Invite a couple weekends from now.
