he was in perfect position with 250 to go, then rigged his nuts off. it got worse and worse with every step he took. he wound up handing off in the back of the pack, and the seconds leg took off, only to crash into a couple other teams' runners who had already handed off.
only arkansas with the dropped stick was behind them at that point, and there was no one even close to them. they all ran in no man's land, and only jaworski was able to run a respectable race.
pitiful. their girls 4 x 8 was decent. they had a sophomore split 2:06+ on the third leg to put them in the race. then got destroyed on the anchor leg, but still finished 5th or so.
