Is the Adios 8 any good? Looks light and it's quite cheap.
The Takumi sen is sold out here.
I have been using the Saucony endorphin speed 3. Version 4 is £150 which I refuse to pay.

Good shoe if you want a more traditional lightweight speed shoe. Don't expect any plate assistent bounciness like modern super shoes.
I got a pair around this time last year (maybe just after xmas) for just over $50. Would gladly pay that much again but they don’t get a ton of miles from me. With the Adios 9 coming soon-ish(?) maybe hold out for that price again if it’s not there already

Very good shoe. Not a supershoe/trainer, but light, roomier/more comfy than past adios editions. You get good traction and some ground feel with some of their best foam in it. Adidas does really nice sales so I’d time it and I got mine for $60 or something. I have the Endorphin Speed 3 too, but I think the adios 8 is honestly better for most workouts, outside of a tempo run/very long intervals.
Like others have said, it's a good workhorse shoe. I like using it for speedwork because it works my calves more than supershoes do, but not to the same extent that spikes do. It also has some stack to it, so it's not a super jarring transition from it to a supershoe.
I do think you will find it to be a different shoe from the Endorphin Speed, due to the lack of a plate or rocker
