Well, if you have a low arch and overpronate or already wear an orthotic and want a lightweight training shoe, the cesium is for you. I tried it on just for kicks and it was decently lightweight and pretty flexible in the forefoot. However, the built in orthotic is definitely noticeable. Overall, it is great for someone who requires a motion control shoe and wants to train in something that is actually "run-able".
I think it would be pretty good, save for the lacing system. I do second the opinion that the "orthotic" is very noticeable. It is like a wedge in the shoe.
My store has sold them very very well. You do have to go up a half size in them. We only carry the men's version. It's a great alternative to a beast/evolution/stabil heavy duty motion control shoe. Because of the crash pad and the orthotic it provides the same support as the heavier motion control shoes.
it IS a wedge in the shoe.
Thanks, What I meant is that it feels more like a "wedge" than even a real orthotic.
