Fear the tree, Badgers will be a distant second. Ducks right behind them.
The duck men? I would argue the dawgs are shaping up better. I want Oregon to do well though, it's about time and those kids deserve a good performance. Pretty sure Stanford (tree) is not in the Big 10.

But that won’t be the final 7 runners this Friday for several of your teams. Many like OR W have held out top athletes all season.
University of Wisconsin Badgers Weekly Media Conference Mick Byrne October 28, 2024
"The big competition for the team championship will come from Oregon and Washington, and from the traditional Big Ten schools, Michigan and Michigan State."
Tree is in the ACC.
Purdue to pull a surprise and finish 4th knocking off two out of oregon, michigan, michigan state. Team is coming into form at the right time. Wisco and Washington still a class above at the top though.
Pretty funny seeing Schumacher coaching the Ducks against Wisco. .
1. Wisconsin, expect the boys from Madison to cruise to another victory. But I'm not so bullish on their NCAA's chances... Big 10 hero's.
2. Washington: Too much talent to fall lower than this.
3. Indiana: Never doubt Eric, these guys are pretty damn good.
4. Michigan State: always surprisingly decent.
5. Oregon: The fact they aren't cleaning out this conference in year-3 of Jerry, is a complete indictment on his ability to manage a collegiate team in the NIL era.
6. Purdue: This program is way on the rise, they're going to be very good in a few years.
7. Michigan: Given the brand, funding, and talent, Michigan is aggressively mediocre year-in and year-out.
8. Penn State: Reached the middle tier, I think they've been running well, but just don't have the talent to place higher than this.
9. Illinois: They've actually been pretty decent this year, but the conference is way deeper.
10. Ohio State: Another track school, but they've been trending upwards in recent years.
11. Minnesota: These guys just cannot seem to figure it out. They have the right legacy/infrastructure but I've been very unimpressed with the rebuild. Hoping their recruiting success helps them figure it out.
12. Nebraska: They're all in on track, and don't have the academics for elite distance guys, I don't really blame them for this.
13. Iowa: There was never much hope once Max Murphy transferred.
14. UCLA: Pathetic excuse for one of the best academic/athletic brands in U.S. universities.
15. Rutgers: Someone had to be last, maybe someday they can turn this program around, plenty of talent in NJ/NY.
I don't blame Minnesota, it's probably tough to keep anything going when your athletic department tried to cut the program. Iowa is also essentially 'all in' on track. You're missing Maryland. Today I found out USC doesn't have a men's cross country team?
Maryland doesn't have a men's xc program.
Dang I thought I remembered they did. I thought they were in the back with Rutgers. My mistake

USC dropped men's cross country a long time ago, maybe even decades. Just another reason why everyone out west hates USC. Basically it's football and nothing else.
Their women's team will probably be dead last tomorrow. They're a complete joke.
USC doesn’t do XC or distance, but definitely care a lot and do very well at track

I agree with the top 5. Even without the excitement of Oregon and Washington the Big 10 is having a great year.
The most improved has to go to Indiana.
Washington is a sleeper to win it.
Wisconsin has a phenomenal team this year but the NCAA is absolutely loaded.
Oregon has great talent that could always surprise everyone.
USC does not have a men’s team and hasn’t had one for more than two decades.

Yeah they're running poorly but no need to insult them I get you never got the chance to run D1 XC but you don't need to project it on them. Based on your logic you can throw high schoolers into Iowa, Nebraska, and Rutgers rosters considering UCLA still beat them somehow.
