Youve prepared well, stayed consistent, gotten all the sessions in, and are heading into the home stretch only to get sick. You find yourself weak, pathetic, coughing and snotting all over the place with 3 weeks to go. This week had some important sessions and you are feeling like momentum is gone going into the taper in another week or so. Don't want to over-taper and lose feel at race pace.
Do you run easy through the sickness and skip the quality sessions (not that you could do them in your current state anyways)? Extra days off? Add more race pace work during the taper to get feel back?
Sh!t timing both physically and mentally.
