Kurui recently broke an Ed Cheserek record, going well under 23 minutes for an 8k win.
Unfortunately, sub-60 half-marathoner Solomon Kipchoge/TX Tech not entered although several of his Kenyan brethren are.
Race is stated to be 8k this year rather than 5 miles as in past.
Looks like redshirt is coming off ND frosh Drew Griffith. Ran unattached a couple weeks back at the National Catholic Invite, finishing 6th overall behind 4 teammates.
