I was wondering the same thing. It seemed very underwhelming
I watched it. I quite enjoyed it. It was different. The organizers just need to keep in mind that you can't please everybody. Track and field fans are always going to find something to gripe about.
I watched it. Meh- wasn’t anything to write home about. Lots of lights and sparkles. The races themselves were boring
i'll watch it at some point. problem is, it isn't track season any more. stupid time to roll it out.
Seemed like a season ending meet where the top athletes were all off their PEDs like when Gabby T ran over 22.5 or 23? in the 200 and lost.

She ran 22.21 and lost by 0.03 to the Olympic bronze medalist?
You think PEDs are the only reason athletes aren’t at peak form from April to October?
This was a proof-of-concept event that could potentially result in a pro track circuit/series focused on women. With the right people and financing, turning Athlos into a rival to Diamond League has potential. Athletes loved it because they were paid and treated better than what Euro meets offer. Time will tell if Ohanian and Serena Williams can turn this into a full fledged women’s track tour.
Personally, I am rooting for this and for Grand Slam. Our sport is floundering, even in Europe, and desperately needs fresh thinking and an updated presentation. I think that women only meets make sense as the ladies are far more marketable and appealing than the men right now. Too many low personality robots, monks, and socially awkward boys lacking communication skills make men’s track a tough watch and a harder endorsements sell these days.
Credit to the organizers for trying something new and different.
Will similar meets in the future prove profitable enough to continue? That's the key question and we don't know the answer yet.
It appears that most attendees went for the concert, few for the track competition.
I am a female and I was excited to watch it with my daughters but not calling back the 100 hurdles ruined it. We literally turned it off after that. It was a blatant false start.

sounds like the same clown who started the "Nobody watches womens baskteball!!?!" thread.
I'll note the twitter broadcast had 2.4 million views as of Friday afternoon.
Track & Field is majority men as fans. Not including men in the meet is a little passive aggressive. At this point we don't want to exclude anyone from watching the sport and Athlos did that.
