At the risk of starting another banal thread when there are much better things to talk about like Webb, Ritz, Torres, jason's drugs, Paula's supremacy etc, I was wondering...
Where are you from, and do runners wave at each other there?
I've travelled all over and found the reaction to my waving is hit or miss. In Italy, I just baffled people with my tights, so nobody was looking to see me waving. Croatia, I don't know anybody had ever run through those parts without a gun pointing at them. Most parts of Canada, other runners wave when you cross paths. Some places I've been in the States - maybe it was me - people didn't seem to wave so much.
Here in Atlantic Canada, runners wave at each other, as they did in Ottawa.
So, is it normal common courtesy among runners to wave acknowledgement where you run, and where is that?
