Why in last 4 years 6 americans can run close to this time, but 1 italian no?
It's not like she was running 14:20. She's run 14:40s many times fairly consistently through the years, and I think she's run a lot of good times in 5K road races as well.

Lol, so your argument is she got third in the olympics beating Ethiopians, must be a doper since she isn't east african.
But then you remember of someone called Grant Fisher, and realize you make exceptions to your own rules based on country preference. Respect for Battocletti, what she achieved today is historic.
