What's the line up? Order? Chances for a WR?
This thread was started before the race was run. We have changed the title now that the US has lost.
What's the line up? Order? Chances for a WR?
Coleman, Kerley, Kenny, Lyles. book it.
WR chances: 15%
Knighton should be 3rd leg
Did they drop the baton or exchange out of the zone already?
At least let them get the warm ups on before the DQ.
Not the same after the WADA warning/plea deal.
Coleman, Kerley, Kenny, Lyles. book it. 100%
WR chances: 10%
Like everyone else has said ; Coleman, Kerley, Bednarek, Lyles. WR is in reach but all comes down to handoffs. With 3 clean exchanges, these guys have a legit shot. I’ll say 25% Much higher odds for the women’s team.
i originally typed 10% and then felt a waft of optimism blow across the room and i upped it.
They are good enough to break the record, but it's a really good record, and we have not been good in the exchange zone
I don't trust Kerley at all in a relay. It was his leg last time that messed up the exchange. I would have replaced Kerley with Courtney Lindsey. They won't do it, but Kerley had his shot last time and blew it. And I don't recall him running on any 4x100s since that to indicate he is capable.

he and coleman have plenty of time to work on their part. let's hope it happens.
Why? Bednarek is faster over 120m

Doesn't really matter since he won the bronze medal in the 100
He's gonna be on that relay

Oooooooo, inject that dropped baton mojo straight in my veins baby.
The USA 4x1 has a long and rich history of disqualifictions. WR chances 33%. DQ chances 67%.
And the woes continue ...
That was a textbook example of how not to run a relay. Two of the three exchanges were about as bad as one could do it.

too good, just too good
Just run the NCAA guys going forward, it couldn’t possibly get any worse. At least they’ll get the stick around
