First Hocker, now Quincy. Wow.
We are sitting 100m to go and when Hall came off the turn in 4th or 5th - I was like "Jonathan what's wrong with Quincy." Boom.

That’s what you get for burning Washington!
Great Britain...more like Decent Britain
American athletes certainly know how to "prepare" for one day in August. Like his namesake Watts QH destined now to disappear without a trace.
If Hall was Kenyan and MHS was American this entire board would be demanding his piss sample after that kick lol

Sheer willpower to win! The Olympic men’s 400m gold is finally back in the USA where it belongs.
Whoa! Amazing run through the field. Worried about Michael Norman tho. another final disappointment for him :(
All my bets missed on this one. At least Hocker's +2000 odds were great yesterday
He definitely was thinking about Hocker the last 100m. Ever since Lyles won the 100m, the momentum has shifted for team USA.
List of better 4x4 guys than Norman looking ahead to later this week:
Rai Benjamin (even with hurdles)
Quincy MF Hall
Bryce Dedmon
Vernon Norwood
SML
Quincy Wilson
Trevor Bassit
Cj Allen
John Anderson
as the race was beginning, I thought, when did the men's 400 get so boring? exciting race. don't know how Hall muscled that one out.
Why don't you look to see if there already threads on the topic you plant to post?
Cole Hocker
USADA seems to have no control over US track and field. It took the feds to get Marion Jones
the 400 has seemed so boring the last few years i think because the 400 hurdles have been so exciting. so fun to watch the rhythm of that race when it's been mastered.
in real life, watching high school kids, i love watching the flat 400, and loathe the hurdles.
I love that you included SML in your list! I’m literally laughing out loud and in tears from laughing so hard. 😂
Norman is a time trailer, a destitute man's Asafa Powell (at the 400 instead of the 100). He'll never run his best when it matters.
Quincy Hall is from Kansas City, rhe greatest sporting city on the planet.
What a final 100!!
