Tour de France champion Tadej Pogačar will not compete at the upcoming Paris Olympics due to fatigue, the Slovenian Olympic Committee announced on Monday.
His GF definitely wasn't selected and some articles phrase it as Pogacar wasn't selected. All the announcements about fatigue came from the solvenian peeps. Pogacar publicly said he wouldn't do vuelta, the Olympic announcement was from Slovenia. I think the Slovenian selectors said he was too tired as retribution for publicly flaming them for not selecting his GF (the Slovenian national champion). If Pogacar didn't want to race in Paris he would have said so himself.

Yes, it’s clear that he is tired. You could see it in the last stage, when he won the TT by over 1 minute (45:24) even though he already had a 5 minute lead in the GC.

Runners: OMG he's run too many early races. He's PEAKING TOO EARLY. Also runners: Pogacar is a disgrace because he says he's tired after successively winning the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France.
Incidentally, I'm pretty sure Pogacar can test clean with the best of em.

After the tour he probably fread Lance's advice to not make it TOO obvious he's doping so in comes the "tired" excuse.
