Letsrun posters hate supershoes and wavelights, yet any post that says something good about Jakob will have 50 or more upvotes, even though Jakob is a major beneficiary of both of these advancements, and the people who’s records he has broken or is looking to break did not have supershoes or wavelights (for the 1500, mile, 2000, 3000, and 2 mile).

Jakob is benefiting of 2sec+ in the 1500m and 5sec to 8sec in the 5000m. Add to that the new bouncy tracks.
But the fanboys love dreaming and living in legends. They hate anything that break their believes.
