Hey fellas given We all know his base phase of 2 double T and a X factor workout(hills) how does this change during the season if anyone knows? An example of a week leading into a race
He does 3 vo2 a week and gets fast
they keep that part secret. Gjert published their training during racing season from years ago though. But they might have changed things from back then.
Replace hill / X with vo2 max session or race ?
I don't know the specifics, but I'd imagine they do more intervals closer to race pace rather than threshold pace. Unless they have some other unorthodox approach up their sleeves, I think that's the most likely answer.
There is a calendar of some sorts out there of Henrik's training in the 2015 outdoor season. I’ll try to find it but it may be outdated.
