It would've been more entertaining if he stayed in last place until the final 200.
I guess he doesn't want push too hard to save his energy for the next races and Olympics
41.46, 57.23, 58.00, 57.35 for 3:34.04
Wonder why he went out so fast. Still, he looked as smooth as usual but I wonder if he was straining more than he'd have liked at the end.
Here are 300, 700, 1100, 1500
41.46, 1:38.69, 2:36.69, 3:34.04
Jakob was there to remind the hobbyjoggers that there's a bigger gap between them and him than between the hobbyjoggers and the sedentary people.
not sure about wind or temps, but it was raining very hard.
Filip is really finished, sad
Jakob showing up to the Parkrun to race a bunch of salarymen and plumbers
Heavy rain, cold (54 degrees) and quite windy
Hard to say what it could have been without rain, wind and cold weather, but a couple of seconds he lost atleast. Some of the guys behind have done 3.37 earlier this year and are probably in that shape now.

It was a nice training session for him. He is probably at 18 miles for the day in training.

The Norwegian reporters said 54 and 1.52 (maybe one sec slower on both in my view after rewatching the race -still incredible fast opening in heavy rain and wind; especially on the home straights according to Jakob in post interviews). And he beat 3.37 guys with a hundred meters…
Jakob also said he felt really strong in the race.

Ok looking at the race video, The conditions were awful. 25 MPH wind gusts, rain etc. This was a great performance. Looking forward to Monaco.
