If Athing Mu WAS to change coaches (VERY unlikely, I know), what team/coach would be the best candidates for her skills/distances?

Pete Julian would get her what she wants the quickest, an excuse to never run again.

Watching her 49.57 400 PB from the 2021 NCAA final, I realised that Athing went through 200 crazy fast, meaning at the time she was capable of 49-low. At the age of 19.
She should be doubling and dominating at 400 / 800.
There's a coach in San Antonio who'd have her back in top form in no time.

Pete Julian can’t get anyone to the top anymore. Union is dead

Ritz. Bonus - Sage would get more practice jumping over her after falling.
Aside from the obvious stuff, another annoying thing about Mu training with Kersee is that we never got to see her reach her 400 potential because he already had SML in his camp.
I would've loved to see her focus on the 400 for a season, it would've given her a needed change and played to Kersee's strengths.
Athing My could be world class at 400m or 1500m. I would love to see her focus a couple years at 1500n/800m (lower her 4:03 1500m pb) and than focus 400m/800m and rake a serious shot at the WR. She would build a good strength base after training for 800/1500 and than next year hone her speed and attack the WR

Athletes get their own lane in the 400. Doubling the 8 / 15 just doubles the chances of another fall, which for all the jokes these past few days, I doubt many of us want to see again.
