You CANNOT wear track spikes for xc.
Nah. I've run plenty of XC 10k in Nike Victory/Dragonfly track spikes. The plate does get destroyed over time on rocks and sidewalks, but track spikes are faster on both the track and cross country.

You CANNOT wear track spikes for xc.
Its really the other way around. But you will probably do better with xc spikes than track spikes on a muddy course.
