With the 800m to decide, I like Hall's chances. No matter how it ends, I think she'd be happy with simply qualifying for the Olympics considering her having to overcome injury.
Chari Hawkins is an amazing athlete and I have the utmost respect for her. But her 800m PB is 2:15.01, and Anna Hall has run 2:02.97, and Hall is leading by 6 points. The competition is essentially over.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll actually show the race. It’s amazing that Anna Hall is so far off her game due to her injury/surgery yet she’s still going to easily win USAs
Great competition thus far! Hall can really rock an 800 so on paper, she's a lock. But perhaps her aerobic capacity was the most compromised aspect of her injury and subsequent recovery? Looking forward to it! Hawkins family and supporters were in my seat this morning (Bandits!! I only had 9,500 others to choose from) so I may have to root for Hall.
if Hall is even 75% of her usual 800m self after her injury, she has this in the bag. 2:02 800m PR! Vs Hawkins’s 2:15 PR(i think its around there if im not mistaken?)
It is going to be a fascinating 800m to decide the Olympians, but it’s not Chari vs. Hall. Hall is in easy, while Chari loses a lot of points in the 800m, which should allow Brooks (who has been consistent at 2:15-2:17 this year) to move up to 2nd. The real battle will be for third place between Chari (whose 800m is 2:17-2:32) and fourth-placer Michelle Atherley (whose 800m is 2:06-2:12).
Chari is 183 points ahead of Atherley. That is 12-13 seconds in the 800m. If Atherley runs a 2:07.00, Chari would need a 2:19.05. If Atherley runs a 2:12.00, Chari would need a 2:25.34. It could be very close.
Both are so athletic and good looking. I find Hall so attractive it is kind of distracting. They are both super athletes.
I am amazed at how good both the women in heptathlon are and how good the men in the decathlon are at each event.
I saw Anna Hall for the first time last night and was kind of stunned. I’m a gay man but wow that is a beautiful human! Seems like a really fierce competitor too.
The real fight is for third because Michelle Atherly's PR in the 800m is about 7 seconds faster than Taliyah Brooks' PR in third and needs beat her by about 7.5 to make the team. If she can just draft off of Anna Hall and try to kick past her if she starts fading, she can easily be dragged to a PR because she set that while running about 20m ahead of her chasers and didn't really have anyone to race against who's better. Saying that Anna Hall likes to go out in like 58 mid, so maybe this would overcook her.

I am not sure if you are trying to say/joke if one is attracted to Hall they might be gay or bi....well I am haven't been bi before but if finding her beautiful makes me bi....maybe I am bi and never knew it. She is stunning to look at and her being one of the most athletic woman on the planet adds to her appeal.
