I was wondering about that too, but I bet he just feels that good. He didn't look like he was working hard for it.
+ the first round in Paris will probably be something similar. Risky but you're in fantastic shape (and a cut above most others besides Hobbs + Yared), maybe he wanted to use this as a test for the system.
It’s the equivalent of Lyles jogging a 19.9 in the 200m first round. But I bet Hocker didn’t really notice how fast he was going. He just wanted it as clean as possible. Stay in the inside of lane 1 and no tripping.
