Every NBA point guard ever could break 6 when they are in shape. I would guess that Doncic can run about 5:30 since he is a big one. Allen Iverson could have run about 4:05.
he couldn't break 6. different skill set entirely. could an elite sumo wrestler break 6?
Luka runs a lot for his sport. Probably runs at least a 5k every game
So much different than a regular non stop 5k run. So many breaks from time outs, rest between q, free throws, instant replay(annoying), and all the other things that stop a basketball game. Having said that sub 6 shouldn’t be a problem.

Doncic topped out at about 2.4 miles per game on his heavier-load nights and as low as 1.6 on the lower-load. Averaged 2.18.
However, this was at an average speed of 3.68 MPH, which means it includes walking distance. Judging from that, I would say he actually runs about a mile per game tops

He would suck mightly at distance running, probably he is nothing more than an average hobbyjogger. He could be a decent thrower (either shot put or one of the other throws) and a decent high jumper, though.

Man, what a loser! Bet he would give anything to switch places with Cole Hocker and experience what life is like as a real athlete
Every time I watch Luka play I can’t help but wonder how good he’d be if he leaned up. It’s remarkable that he had once of the best playoff runs ever and looks to me like he had 15 to 18% bodyfat. is this just his appearance or is he really walking around with extra fat?
oh and to answer the question i bet a lot of money he’d still be able to run sub 6 and maybe 5:20 as a reach purely based on being an elite athlete and training year around for basketball. people underestimate the fitness of elite soccer / basketball players. On my high school soccer team to even have a shot at making the team (junior varsity or varsity) everyone had to run 2 miles in sub 13 on the track. There were maybe 60 kids that tried out and most of them could do it on the first try.

Too big for any kind of jumper and no vertical elevation. But if he had played the sport growing up I could see him as a great NFL quarterback, with his size, vision and footwork. Think of Big Ben, only more mobile and bigger.
