No ultramarathoner here. Can't say I've even had the pleasure of running a marathon. I do walk or run a few hours every day.
As a challenge to myself, I'm thinking or walking for twelve hours straight. If I keep up a pace of 15-minute miles, I should be able to walk 48 miles, but I'd be satisfied to get in 40 miles.
Is there anything I should consider before undertaking this challenge? Any training advice?
