In this race, I do not think that he was in a bad spot tactically, not in this one. He was right there with 200M to go, and actually in a good spot not leading. Probably ran his last 200 in 26.2? Wightman is better than he is, and Holt would not give in. I don't think it is quite a bad as some are making it out to be. If you watch the video , and I was looking for things wrong, not right, you could say he should not be dicking around back in 6-7, but that did not cost him one iota. I went back and re timed last 200M , I could be wrong, but 26.3? I think Wightman is all the way back or very very close, if you believe that he is better than Hocker, with his 1:44.x and beating him(Hocker) by 1.1 at Pre Mile, and beat Kessler yesterday by only .4? you could make the case Hobbs is actually in pretty good shape and that Holt just had a monster day.
