A bit spotty, this. Meditating on Bol’s “illusion of effortlessness,” the author references Roger Federer, Jessica Ennis, Carl Lewis, Ben Johnson, George Best, Josh Kerr, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Usain Bolt, Muhammad Ali, Michael Johnson...and never mentions Syd.
