Pretty huge pickup for UF. He might already be able to run in the high 48s based on that 300h time. 34.8 is incredible.

I don't know much about the 300m hurdles. How have others on the all-time top ten list fared after highschool? Is the 300 a good predictor of future performance?

It feels like there is significantly more medalists on this all-time list than any of the other ones. A good amount on the 110 list as well. It's impossible to predict how someone is gonna develop in college but based off this list he's gonna be pretty generally successful. The 300, despite it's flaws, does feel like a good indicator of future performance, although I will say that as with many events, the best people at the Olympic level don't usually seem to be the top 0.1% - it seems to be the top 2-3 percent behind them that REALLY excel. True phenoms like SML are a rarity.
Just looked at his race from the other week compared to a race from one year ago. Night and day. Dude looked like he had never ran hurdles in 2023, now his technique looked the best in the field. Shaved like 3s too.
