Following a brief period of illness she has unfortunately passed on. Hopefully Letsile is able to get through this time, it won't be easy when he now will be responsible for his 12 year old sister and is meant to be travelling around the world training and competing. Really hope his management steps up for him. Awful news to get at 20 whilst breaking out as a superstar.

I hope they can find peace and be ok I don’t know how that feels but I can imagine it would be extremely hard our mothers are priceless. I’m rooting for tebogo for life not just in reference to athletics

As disappointed as I was that the Americans only got silver and bronze, Tebogo of all people was the best guy to beat them. I'm sure his mom is so proud of him.
