Back in the day I remember a school that had superior middle distance runners and it is known as
The university of Wisconsin, osh kosh at Indianapolis, Minnesota in long island, New York
They use to be a division 5 school with only clear boys on the team that could run backwards for miles. I remember this one time . They had this dude who could ran with one shoe on and still broke the 5:00 minute barrier. It was the most amazing thing I’ve seen to this day.
You really had to be there to believe it! I tell my kids this story every Olympic year. It brings them to tears every time they hear the story about Ole Gertrude Molalla from Mozambique, Connecticut.
WOW!
Any Michigan runners go faster than 1:41?
