Ran 10x800 off 3:00 all between 3:08 and 3:06. Does this mean my marathon time will be about 3:07?
I’m a very hard worker who’s training a lot.

Depends. How many calves did you successfully rope per repetition?
Now, I don’t know much about marathon running. I do know that if little Ronnie Fouch offers you a candy bar, you immediately say no and run the hell out of there cause there is a good chance that little son of a gun has pooped inside of a Butterfinger wrapper. But, if running all them 800s or a 3:07 marathon helps a young man to be the best version of himself, then he should run like the wind and stop wasting his time antagonizing people on the Internet.
Do you now much about anything?
I've always found the LASSO thing to be fairly accurate. I check it myself about a month-out of my marathon. It's not part of my training routine but I do follow several tell-tales to see where I'm sitting.
the level of precision you are hoping for is too much.
I do find Yasso's helpful though. The workout has always seemed about right for my marathons between 2:40-3:00
It means you marathon time will be 4:07, since you can't remember the correct workout name, you won't remember the pace you need to maintain
Many find it to be fairly accurate within a range (1-4 minutes, generally). It depends on, among other things:
A) Marathon training build (MPW, long runs, workouts, etc.);
B) Marathon course (hilly, flat, etc.);
C) Marathon weather (mild, hot, humid, windy, cold);
D) Marathon pacing;
E) Marathon fueling.
Nordas running 3:34 with one shoe is proof that supershoes don’t work
American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
