"Well yes, I have a grandmother from Spain. And I also identify as bisexual. Yes, I've only dated women and only plan on dating women, but you're a bigot if you question my lived experience"
White people still hold a disproportionate share of the top, highly paid jobs in the US at S&P 100 companies. But the share of executive, managerial and professional roles held by people of color increased by about 2 percentage points compared with 2020 — more than double the average annual gains at big and mid-sized US companies in previous years.
How much did the sweatshirt from Allyson Felix’s company trigger you? How much does Hamilton?
Answer: a lot.
I thought it was hilarious. I don't want to get into the topic of this thread, but I clicked and found myself here. The reason Allyson's sweatshirt is so funny is because clearly white men are not the ones making big bucks in track & field. Especially in Allyson's events. I still like Allyson and wish her well. I hope she sells a lot of those sweatshirts.
Based on this post alone ... I would rather have the minority hire with a chip on their shoulder than the boring, coddled, white guy who expects the world to fall into this lap.
